We recognize that in todays ever changing environment, paper acts more as a barrier to business, than facilitating productive workflow. With
increasing costs, problems faced with portability and the negative effects posed on the environment, we at Alastair Purdy & Co began to revaluate the way we delivered our services. Therefore, in 2019, we as business took the decision to eliminate paper in its entirety.
Over the course of the next six months, we were able to transition all of our paper files to a digital format. Without the clutter imposed by stacks of paper – together with the implementation of appropriate software, it has permitted our firm to operate in a more efficient and effective manner. Allowing the creation of e-briefs, searchable documents, e-signatures, version control, document transfer and data capture.
GOING PAPERLESS HAS ALLOWED OUR FIRM TO:

Addition By Subtraction
In line with this approach – we ask that solicitors, barristers and relevant institutions dealing with our offices, to direct all communication to our offices by electronic means. Whilst we accept correspondence through post, this is not in keeping with the above philosophy and shall be simply scanned and securely destroyed thereafter.
